I can't believe I am half way through my pregnancy. Time really does fly! I'm really looking forward to the next 5 months. Not so much the uncomfortable nights and itchy skin, back pain, hip pain, blah blah blah, but the more active baby movements, finding out the sex, learing about the different stages and shopping!!!
Those things I look forward to.
This time around I am trying some new things, like cloth diapers, lily padz, baby slings, nursing wraps, glass bottles, and maybe a pacifier. I just want things to be easier this time around.
So I've been searching for thing that will make my mommyhood an easier one. Nursing in public has always been somewhat difficult (especially with MIL around) I wanted to find a nursing blanket or some time of cover that would help me stay modest and I don't have to sit in the car, bathroom stall, or closet to feed my little Junebug. This is what I have found! It's just like an oversized Poncho, 100% cotton and very stylish. I saw the hooter hiders, and baby capes, but this looks so nice and I just have to slip it on!
The second thing I have found is a gauze wrap! With Abby I struggled to get things done because she always wanted to ME to hold her. IF this little Junebug is anything like she is, this wrap will come in handy! What I like about this one is that it is a thin stretchy material that is very strong. I don't care for the white bandage look, but it does come in different colors!!
Thirdly, I have been looking for a swing that would feel natural to the baby. At Target I found the Graco SweetPeace Soothing cEnter. Now this might seem a bit much, but I am also looking for something that will help this baby to sleep. (which Abby never did)
The only thing I really need now is a good car seat and stroller. I haven't started on that but It's on my list of things to shop for!
I love this baby stuff!

Okay, Esther. You are ALL into it. I love it. You look so beautiful by the way. I NEVER took a picture like that. Not even with the first one. Good luck in the hunt! Oh, and what is that thing next to the swing? Glass bottles? HUH?
hahaha Yes, glass bottles, I'm some what scared of plastic. plus, glass washes better because it doesn't hold any bacteria.
Yes i'm extreme!
