24 week update

It's been a while since I posted about my pregnancy. I am now 24 weeks and I am doing great. At first it seemed like my pregnancy was moving soooo sloooow. But now things are moving right along. That includes my weight!:sigh: When I ws pregnant with Abby, I ate whatever I wanted, I didn't really care about how much I'd gain, I figured it would just fall off. WRONG!! I have always been on the skinny side, but I don't care what people say, your body just isn't the same after having a baby. So with this pregnancy I was *trying* to be more careful about how much I gain. And so far I have done okay, but this past month it just seems like my weight is increasing oh so fast. I read that between month 4 and month 8 you should gain a pound a week. But man it can be scary. I really just want to have a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy. And now that I am at the half way mark, things are really going to start happening. Baby Junebug is moving a lot more. He still is calm most of the day, but he makes enough movement to let me know he is doing fine. Miguel and I are going through names. I think we will go with, Josiah Steven. Josiah means fire of God and I love the story of Josiah. I love reading about his courage and his love for God. He wasn't a product of his enviroment. He chose to be godly instead of wicked like his father and grandfather. He was an amazing king even at the young age of 8. I get excited reading about this young king. We chose Steven as a middle name, simply because Miguels dad's name is Steven. So there you have it. Baby JOJO :)
One of my worries as a mom for a little boy is: Circumcision. It seems people are either 100% for it or 100% against it. I see the benefits of both. I'm pretty sure that we will circumcise our little guy, but not before I do all my research and talk to my dr. about it. My reason for not doing it is, People our human and can mess up. So I want to make sure that it's not some rookie doing the job. KWIM? But I also know there are benefits to having it cut. (otherwise God would not have commanded it) I told Miguel that when God gave the command to have the men cut, I wouldn't have been first in line. But anyhow.
I can not stop thinking about this little man. I wonder how different it is going to be. Abby is such a girly girl. She knows how to be tough and so on, but she loves everything girly! I love that about her. But more than anything I just want my kids to love God, sincerely. I want them to do right and want to please God.
So I have about 3.5 months left. God is so good.

I feel you about the weight and pregnancy! I didn't gain as much with Jack as I am this time around. Oh well!
I read about the circumsion post on c moms but I didn't want to get too involved:) Honestly, we didn't think twice about getting Jack done. My husband is done and I wanted them to look the same. Also, I felt like it was more sanitary even though that apparently is not true.
Glad all is going so well! He will be here soon!!!!
