The sign of spring:

Growing up I never appreciated the beauty of spring. My mom would plant all kinds of flowers and trees. We lived in Wa. so our land was very fertile and things would grow so beautifully. But I never really cared about those things. Now that I am an adult and I have my own home, I have learned to appreciate the wonders of God's creation. I now live in the deseret and anything green here is rare and beautiful. I planted a weeping cherry willow tree in our back yard. It is still young and skinny, but it blooms the most beautiful pink flowers and green leaves. I am so excited to see this tree bloom and grow.

An image of Joy:

The first thought that comes to mind when I think of joy is the joy of being a child. Care free and adventurous. So many questions, so many things to discover. The joy that a child can bring to it's parents. The innocents and the eagerness to please. The simple trust that they have. Yes, not everyone gets to have a childhood like this, but my child will. I want my children to look back and say "Oh to be a child again, those were good times"

My Bad Habit:

No my bad habit is not greed or money. It is SHOPPING!! I love to shop. Most of the time I don't shop for myself, but it doesn't matter who I am shopping for, I just love shopping. The problem is the lack of the image above!:)

A Good Word:

For me, a good word is something that makes you laugh! Calvin and Hobbes always does the job. But it doesn't have to be C & H's, sometimes listening to the things that come out of my dd's mouth is better than any comic book out there!

A Reflection of Me:

My home is a reflection of me. The way I raise my children, the way I love my husband. I'm not the best housekeeper, but I love my family. When people see how I treat my family and run my home I want them to see a few things. 1. That we have God as our foundation 2. My husband is the leader of our home 3. I am the nurturer of our Home. My home is a lived in home, we welcome others and we want others to feel welcomed. This is who I am. This is what I want others to see when the see me.
