For Today...
Outside my Window...The sun is shining but there is a coolness in the air.

From my learning room... it is quiet. I'm lazy this morning after having a very busy day yesterday and I'm putting off Abby's school lessons.

I am thankful for... the visitors we had yesterday for church. Abbys prayers were answered which reinforced to her that God does hear you when you pray.

I am wearing...striped pajama pants and a lime green t-shirt.

I am reading... Skin by Ted Dekker. I haven't started yet but I will this afternoon.
I am hoping... to get the house cleaned up today. My in-laws just left so it's a little untidy.

I am creating...nothing at this moment, but later Abby and I will carve pumkins!

I am hearing...Oswald on t.v. and the clicking of my keyboard.
Around the house... I have all of my pumkin candles lit. The shades are partially open and it is pretty quiet.

One of my favorite things...as of lately,pumkin scented candles. I never liked them much before but I bought a candle tart and the smell won me over!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Abbys soccer practice on tuesday, church on wednesday, game on saturday (abby gets her trophy :) and church on sunday.

Halloween is coming up and we don't celebrate this holiday. But I remember as a kid how much fun it was to dress up and go trick or treating and then coming home to see what goodies you received. I've decided that I don't think it is a big deal to dress up and go "door knocking" (hahah) Abby understands that is just for fun, and we are not celebrating "halloween". But this year Miguel will be out of town and so we won't be going trick or treating. Instead I am going to dress Abby up and buy some candy for her and hide it through out the house and let her find it. Maybe we'll even pass out some candy!
