Summer is nearly here! I am excited about this. This means school is almost finished for Abby. She is at the end and she is bored out of her mind during school. I'm so proud of her though, she has done really well, expecially for only being 4 when she started. She now can read, count, add, subtract and has a ton of Bible verses memorized.
Next year will be a bit challenging for me I think, Josiah will be 17 months old and I will have a newborn on my hands while Abby does her k-5 lessons. Thankfully I have a husband with a flexible schedule and will be able to help out.
As for me, I am longing for those warm, lazy summer days. Hanging out at the lake, having a picnic, and getting a tan.
Can you believe it's already May? Time has gone by so fast. I'm almost through with my first trimester! So far it hasn't been too bad. I've had some morning sickness, but nothing to knock me off my feet. I finally have a pooch, but I haven't gained any weight. I think breastfeeding has really helped with that. I've been sleeping pretty well at night, so I am not totally dead throughout the day. Anyhow, things have been well here in our house and in our small town.
God is good.
