Wow, things have been so crazy! I've just now gotten a chance to sit down and type all that has been going on. First I will start off with my appointment. I had my u/s appointment on thursday, Feb. 21 at 10:30! It seemed like that day was never going to come, but it eventually did. I was so excited about finding out if we were having a little boy or another little princess. We got there and only had to wait a few minutes. Abby was excited, Dad was excited and I had a full bladder! We went in and sat down, I layed down. The lady was very nice, even though she called me Easter instead of Esther. She had a very strong accent and later found out that she was from Iran. Anyhow, my little Junebug was asleep. The tech measured all the proper things and made sure our little bug was healthy. The Dr. came in and said okay let me see HER heart, let me see HER kidneys. and then at the same time they both go "OHHHHHHH"
Well what does that mean? What is it? I asked. "it's not a girl, it's a boy" A boy? Are you sure? They were sure. They freezed the screen, and I said "OHHHHHHHH" What a site to see. IT was clear as day! I asked why they thought it was a girl before and they said the cord got in the way and created a girl part?! But there was no question about it. Once my little guy moved we were able to get a full view! The next thing we noticed was the chubby cheeks! Abby had chubby cheeks in her u/s and so does my little guy. He weighs 1 lb. 5 oz.! We got a cute picture of his little feet and one with his mouth open. He is healthy and whole and we praise God for that.
Abby wanted a sister, but after the u/s she said "mommy, it's okay that I am having a baby brother. I'm just happy" I was so proud of her. She has such a good heart and I believe she will be a wonderful big sister. Later we dropped her off with her Grandmother. I went out a bought her some big girl Hannah Montana undies. I didn't want her to feel left out. She loved them so much she went and changed into a pair right away. She is too cute!
We are all so happy and so thankful. We started thinking of differant names, and Abby said she likes either Chip???? or Prince????? She is too funny. But dh and I are still going through differant names. I'm looking forward to all the new adventures of having a little boy. It will be so differant for me, but really? How hard can they be?
