Family of 4!

It's been a while since I actually got to sit down and blog about how things are with a newborn. Today Josiah is 3 weeks old and I don't know where all the time went. I look at him and am still amazed that his little body use to be in my tummy! Right now Abby is singing in her room, and Josiah is in his bouncy seat asleep... The first couple of weeks were some what rough. My body is still recovering and we are still adjusting to our new sleep schedule :) But overall I can honestly say "it could be worse" Josiah really is an easy baby, he just has his days and nights mixed up! Abby is enjoying being a big sister. She wants to help out all the time or hold him all the time, but other than that she has been extremely wonderful. She does get a little jealous her in there, but never does she take it out on her little brother. She is so very protective of him and though I tell her that she doesn't HAVE to be like that, inside I find it very endearing. Miguel is really enjoying Josiah. He didn't get to hold Abby much as a baby, since she would scream so bad, but Josiah will just cuddle up in his Daddy's big arms and fall asleep.
For me, I can't stop kissing him. He is so adoreable and he smells so good! I am starting to lose that post pardum tummy. However I am waiting to get back into all my prepregnancy clothes. I'm gonna start working out in another week. My iron is extremely low and the dr. suggested that I wait a little longer. I think this time around I am more motivated to get back into shape. Hey, maybe I'll get back to the way I was before Abby was born !!! My only post symptoms are headaches, I get them often and need to take some tylenol.
Having 2 kids is wonderful. I am so thankful that God waited until Abby was 4, if she had been any younger I think I would have struggled. God always knows exactly what we need. I am keeping up with my house work and all the laundry. Miguel does help some. He will watch Abby while me and Jojo sleeps or he'll clean the bathrooms or maybe the kitchen for me. I have such an amazing husband. Sometimes we disagree and argue, but overall we make a great team.
