Finally a day out on the water

It's been about 2 weeks since I last blogged, and of course the only thing that really has consumed me is Josiah. But I need a break from baby thoughts and baby updates...
I was really excited to have my youngest sister, Deborah, come and visit. She had come down with her boyfriend, Clint. We spent the day together and went out to the lake. Clint tried to teach Miguel how to wakeboard, but I think Miguel was overthinking it. He would almost get on top of the water and then, BAM, he would fall. They went tubing and that was hilarious, we have a two person tube and a one person tube, Clint and Deborah went together and our goal was to knock them off. We succeeded! Miguel went on the one person tube and I was driving the boat. It was too much fun getting him to skip across the water on his rear! Abby went with Deborah on the one person tube and she loved it, of course we didn't flip them! After being out on the water, having lunch and playing around, we headed back home. Miguel cooked steak fingers and I made fried potatoes with bacon and cheese. It was a fun and relaxing day.
What about Josiah???? Well, he slept the whole time! As long as we kept the engine going! We have a life vest for him, but he didn't care for it. So we put him in his car seat and I cover it with a light blanket.
