BLOG CHALLENGE and GIVE AWAY!!! Gratitude Month ~ November ~ Today I am thankful for...Colossians 3:15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
This month I challenge all of you, my blogging friends, to post a gratitude post daily. If possible, post a picture to go along with it! As an extra incentive, I will offer up something special for those of you that participate in this every day...I'll start counting from November 3rd since some of you may not see this until then. Everyone that participates daily starting no later than the 3rd will be entered in a drawing at the end of the month. Keep it simple or go all out! Comment and let me know if you're up for the challenge!-Sherry
Today I am thankful for the security I receive from my husband.
I believe that security is one thing all women want, whether they receive it from their job, or a man, it doesn't matter. We all want security.
On Halloween night I was home by myself with my two kids. My husband had to go to Albuquerque to do a wedding on Saturday. That left us home by ourselves over night =( Now some of you, your husbands are gone days at a time. I don't know how you do it. My husband was gone for one night and I could barely sleep. Thoughts kept going through my mind "okay, if someone tries to break in my plan is to ....." and of course my daughter slept with me in my bed. I just don't like him being gone. If it was just me by myself, I don't think I'd be as worried, but when I have 2 kids with me it is a different story.
I'm I weird? Anyhow, the next night when my dh was home with me, I slept as close to him as possible. I loved the feeling of closing my eyes, and just going to sleep. No Worries!!!
I feel so safe having my dh around. He also offers financial security. We are both 29 years old, but my dh understands that nobody knows when their time is up, therefore he has set up life insurance in case anything happens to him. He doesn't make a lot of money being a Pastor, so he has come up with several different ways to make extra money for us, so we can live comfortably.
I am thankful for my husband and that he is a man. I am thankful for the security he provides for me and my family.

OH my goodness-you and me both-I could never live with out David and I love the security that I get from him! I'm so glad that God has given us the leaders that we have in our husbands (to contain our "wild" ways). =) Good Post.
I am so paranoid when Jerrad is gone! No one better show up to my house unannounced when he is gone!
I'm glad i'm not the only one! I need to get a gun.
