My first Yoga experience!

Okay so, anyone that knows me, knows that I'm not into exercising. But I also don't like being jiggly wiggly and flabby. Since I had my son, I decided that I wanted to get into shape. I don't have confidence in myself and that affects my relationship with my dh. Of course he always comments on how "hot" I look, but he is also honest and say "you could tone up a few areas" and I agree. But being tired, and not motivated makes it difficult. Besides i'm not use to having to worry about my weight or being toned.
So anyhow, in town a lady comes once a month from silvercity (about 2.5 hours away) and does a free yoga class. 2 of my friends went and they really enjoyed it and they invited me so I went. My first thought when I hear the word "yoga" is new age mumble jumble and not for me. However, dh bought the wii fit for me and it has yoga on there and I liked it, so I went. I was about 5 minutes late, but I jumped right in. She had mats already laid out and there was just a few of us, which was nice. I won't go through each exercise we went through, but I will say that it was exercise!!! A lot of stretching and balancing but also a lot of relaxation, which I really needed. The only part that made me want to start laughing was at the very end when we lie down on our mats, the lights are off and she starts talking about colors and letting go and letting in and blah blah blah.... all I could think of was, I wish Sherry was here so we could laugh inwardly together. Then Dingggggg Dingggggg Dinggggggg....... The first Ding startled me (because I did let go and let in :) but by the second and third ding I had decided that I liked the sound of that Dinger thing!
Overall, I really really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to doing some yoga every day with my wii fit and go to her class again next month.
Dinggggggggg ! I'm done :)
