Today my MIL and I made some homemade chocolate turtles and chocolate covered pretzels. She made some at thanksgiving time and I loved the turtles (they just happen to be my fave) So I asked her to bring her recipes when she come up to visit for our Christmas Dinner! Abby was so excited to see her Grandma because she had no idea that she was coming! It was fun to see her jump up and down and checking real close to make sure it was her Grandma's car. Anyhow, we had fun making the candies! Not to mention how good they taste. I think I'm going to make it a tradition every Christmas to make candy. But who knows, I may be making these all year long!!!

oh how fun!!! i would love to do that! i had really good cranberry nut muffins at our family Christmas party last night and they were to DIE FOR!!!! i want to learn how to make those!
