Well tomorrow is Easter Sunday and Abby is suppose to get baptized. Her Grandma and Grandpa came and spent the weekend with us and was going to be there tomorrow to share in the celebration, but then we get a call saying that my SIL is in labor and going to the hospital. So my parents decided to pack up and go home. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not upset by any means. It is there's sons first child being born and it only happens once, but when I had to wake Abby up to tell them that they had to go, she was so sad. She understood and didn't fuss about it to them at all, but she was trying to hold her tears back. I asked her she wanted to wait and she said no. I told her that there was going to be so many people there to watch her and they were all going to be so excited for her and she gave me a shy smile.
I know my In-laws are torn, but they needed to go. I think I'm gonna talk to Abby in the morning and see if we can put it off for two weeks so her grandparents can come back and be there for her.
But I am very proud of my Abby for how she handled it. She is growing up so fast.
The above picture was taken when she was 3 years old in Santa Rosa at her Great Grandma's house. Abby is now 5 years old.....
