My Belly Cast at 37 weeks

Since this is my last pregnancy I decided that it would be fun and special to do a belly cast. So I went and bought some plaster of paris and Miguel and Abby helped cast my belly. It ws really messy but a lot of fun. Josiah sat in his high chair and just watched. These pictures don't show the finished product yet, because it takes like 3 days to dry. Then i'll have to sand it down and glaze it with Gesso. I'm going to print all of my pregnancy photo's and a picture of each one of my kids and make a collage on the cast. Then I'll give it a light varnish to make it look old, and sepia like. Once I'm through I will hang it on my wall in my room with a picture of each of my kids around it. I'm really excited to see what the finished product will be.
This cast was done at 37 weeks. That means I only have 3 more weeks until my due date. Things are going as well as they could be, no complications so far. I think the reality that I'm having another baby / little girl has not fully hit me yet. This pregnancy has flown by.
Well when I have my belly cast completed I will update my blog with beautiful photos. And by that time my little Ellie will be born as well!

Esther! I love your belly cast! Sorry I have been so out of touch lately but I do think of you and your newest little one. I can't believe how far along you are! I haven't been on C-Mom's lately, kinda taking a break but I am so glad you are doing well. I can't wait to see your birth story posted!!!
