Isn't she just adorable? I mean this little girl is so sweet. Having three kids is definitely getting easier. Well Ellie, seems to be growing so quickly. She is two months old and her personality is really starting to show. I feed her about every three to four hours. My favorite feeding time is about 6:30 a.m. she is more alert and full of smiles. Ellie is really trying to learn how to laugh. It reminds me of Lumpy on Pooh's Hephalump when he is trying to learn how to blow his horn (nose)! I could be so dead tired but the moment she starts smiling at me and widening her eyes to focus, it quickly melts my heart and I begin to talk to her. Ellie loves to sleep on her belly. (big no no, I know) but this is just how she likes to sleep. I'll put her on her side as well, but she favors her tummy. I have her crib pushed up next to my bed with the front part removed, so if she starts to stir I can quickly reach my hand across and pat her back. This also makes it easier for me to nurse her. I mean who wants to get out of bed and sit in a chair? I prefer reaching over and putting her in my lap to nurse. That brings me to NURSING! She has gotten a lot better at swallowing and not pulling off to get a milk bath! However she swallows a lot of air, so when I go to burp her she really belches. She tends to throw up a lot, I think she may have acid reflux. I have a pillow propped under her mattress to make it slant and it has definitely helped.
And because she sleeps on her tummy, she has strengthened her neck and has good head control.
My favorite thing is smelling Ellie's little toes. There is something sweet about stinky baby feet LOL My other favorite thing is sitting in bed and letting her fall asleep on my chest. However it does make it difficult to get out of bed and start my day! My Least favorite thing is blow outs! But especially when we are out of town doing things, that can be difficult. But over all things are going well. I struggle from time to time but who doesn't?

It's hard to believe she's growing so fast. It's like I was JUST waiting for the "she's here" on FB or CMommies. She's a gorgeous little girl, and is blessed more than I can put into words to have you for a mom! Love ya, girlie!
She's absolutely beautiful. I haven't visited in a while and I'm so glad I did tonight because her picture truly brought a smile to my face.
Congrats Mama!
