You know how sometimes things come crashing down on you all at once? Well that's how these past couple of months have been. Money has been so extremely tight for us, and things have been difficult. We are driving two hours twice a week for my Prenatal appointments, and that's about to turn into once a week. We have a Honda Pilot, and though it does better than most SUV's it still takes a lot to fill it up. And there are other things.... So my husband came to me and said we may have to sell the Bronco. I almost cried. I love our beautiful red Bronco. It's so fun! The kids love it... But okay, if that's what we need to do.
On top of that, my husband loves to spoil me and buy me things that I want and it kills him to have to tell me that we can't "shop" for a while. That includes stuff for our little girl that will be here in just a couple of months.
Though I am sad that we may have to sell the Bronco, I try to keep in mind that God is always good and He knows exactly what we need and WANT. So I hold on to that and I remind my husband as well that we have a Heavenly Father that can make money grow on tree's! We sat there and remember all the times that God had pulled through for us when we least expected it, but needed it the most. We had such peace that God would do it again.
Do you know what? He did. There was a engine that my husband had sold to a man. The man didn't have the money at the time but my husband said go ahead and take the engine, you can pay me when you get the money. Several months went by and the man never payed my husband, but my husband never said a word. Then last Sunday out of no where this man payed my husband. It wasn't a lot of money but praise God it was money! and then Miguel's mom had told him that she wanted to pay the first month of Abby's school bill. That was another blessing. On top of all that, we receive a check in the mail from one of our credit card companies. They got sued over something and over charged, so they refunded us the money! LOL amazing right?
My husband said "man if God keeps this up we won't have to sell our Bronco" I just laughed and said "praise God"
You know, things are still tight. But I believe that God was just giving us a taste of how amazing He truly is. It encouraged us to not just "know" but to see how real our God is and what He can make happen.
We truly are serving a wonderful Saviour!
